Life Care Center of Sparta, Tennessee, recently earned two distinct honors – being named a 2016-2017 U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Home and earning a deficiency-free state survey.

U.S. News & World Report released its list in November. It rates centers using data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services covering health inspections, nurse staffing and quality of care. Fewer than 13 percent of nursing homes received a Best rating.
