In October, Life Care Center of Sparta, Tennessee and Life Care Center of Crossville, Tennessee, attended the Upper Cumberland Senior Expo in Cookeville, Tennessee.

The annual expo, which was Halloween-themed this year, features over 70 booths and draws in more than 1,000 seniors and their family members from the Upper Cumberland region.

The facilities teamed up to make an Addams Family themed booth, spotlighting food prepared by the facilities’ dietary departments.

“This is an event we look forward to each year,” said Rebecca Young, director of business development at Life Care Center of Sparta. “It gives us the opportunity to educate a large group of seniors about the services we offer, while getting to work with our sister facility, Life Care Center of Crossville. This year we were honored to get to show off our fantastic dietary departments in a fun, creative way!”

Seniors at the expo enjoyed various treats cooked by the facilities and used the photo booth that the Life Care team rented.

Booth awards are given out each year, and the Life Care team won first place for booth décor.
